Homemade Trampolino

There’s this place, somewhere in Zurich, called Trampolino.  My children and I have never been there.  Nor will we ever go there, if I can help it.  I don’t really think we need to, since my kids make their own jumping paradise right here at home for free!

They took the two guest mattresses and put them at the bottom of the stairs.  One was leaning against the wall, one was on the floor, with a second smaller crib mattress underneath it.  Then, they climbed up the stairs and proceeded to jump down onto them.  They also yelled out crazy phrases as they were jumping.  I guess to help them be brave enough to do it?Nick was jumping off the second highest step.  That’s pretty far down, I think.  He has really come a long way with his height issues.  Good job, Nick!

Chris was having fun playing sports photographer, can you tell?

Amazingly, for the entire time they were doing this, no one got hurt.  At one point, there was a bit of a disagreement on what it meant to “take turns”, but no one broke any bones or banged into the wall instead of the mattress.  Shocked me, too!

Noah insisted on jumping with the Jessie hat, every single time.  Not sure why, really, but it seemed to make it more fun for him. It was definitely a fun afternoon for everyone.

I adore your homemade trampolino, but why are you against the real thing? It’s so super fun.
