On Three Kings’ Day, we had the traditional sweet bread and hot chocolate for breakfast. Sophie found the King almost immediately and was crowned with much fanfare and applause. (And a bit of disappointment from others that they were not so lucky.) Being royalty in our house means you don’t have to do any of your chores, normally a treat reserved only for birthdays and if you are very sick. It’s a pretty sweet gig, and the year I was queen I really enjoyed it. 🙂
I bought this year’s loaves from a different store than I normally do. It was delicious. Some day I may get ambitious and make my own, but for now, this will do just fine.
