Cousin Sleepover

As part of Sarah’s birthday celebrations, we invited all the girl cousins over for a slumber party.  It didn’t work out the day of her actual birthday, but we managed to squeeze it in eventually.

Min and Heidi slept on the floor in the girls’ room.  It was very hot that night, and even with the air conditioning on, they ended up kicking off their blankets.  The giggles went on for pretty late, but since they were pretty quiet about it, we let them be. 🙂

I also thought it was fun that we all had a cousin spending the night.  Heidi is actually MY cousin, but I let the girls borrow her. haha

Alexandra and Elle slept downstairs in the extra guest bedroom.  Aren’t they just so cute?  Unfortunately, soon after this picture was taken, Elle got sad.  I stayed with them for a while, and they eventually fell asleep.  In the middle of the night, though, Alexandra came upstairs to tell us Elle was crying and wanted to go home.

I told Alexandra to climb into bed with Papa, and I went down to comfort Elle.  I didn’t think Pete and Colleen wanted to drive down to Provo at 2 in the morning to pick her up, so I did my best to make her happy.  I climbed into bed with her and just rubbed her back and sang.  Eventually she felt back asleep and when she woke up in the morning, she was all smiles again.  Whew!  Crisis averted.

After breakfast, I took them over to the beauty school to get their toenails painted.  That was really fun, and everyone loved how their toes turned out.

Of course, we came home with a few more new colors, as well. I think we are set on polish for a while now. But we are gonna look good!
