This past week I went strawberry picking, and brought home close to 10 pounds of red, delicious goodness. They were gone the next day. So we went out on Friday to get some more, only to discover that the field was closed until Sunday. Talk about disappointing!
On the drive home, we passed another farm with a sign out advertising strawberries. So I drove in to see if we could salvage the afternoon. They didn’t offer self-picking, but they did have a little store where we could buy some already picked. There were also cherries available, as well as free samples!
Alexandra doesn’t really like to eat the cherries, but they do make awesome jewelry!
Unfortunately the other one broke before we could finish picture taking. She’s still glamorous, though. 🙂
