Why my blog is perpetually behind

Just a taste of what my average day is like.  I thought it would be fun to document something like this, so in 20 years when I am all sad about no kids at home.  I can go back, read it, and let out a sigh of contentment that these days are behind me and appreciate the no kids at home instead. 🙂

Today I got up at 6:45, and drove to my friend, Julie's for an hour run/walk.  Drove home, saw the charity bags out on the street, and ran upstairs to get my two bags before the truck came.  Had breakfast, and got showered.  Went to the store and bought bread and fruit.  Also tried to get Sophie's watch band fixed, but the band is too thin.  Have to just buy her a new watch. :(  Came back home and put the groceries away.  Tried three different kinds of cream on Nick's sunburned legs to stop them itching.  Finally poured some special oil in the bathtub for him.  Headed back downstairs to get the stuff I needed from food storage to make lunch.  Cooked lunch (lasagna). While the lasagna was in the oven, had to run to the pharmacy to get 4th cream for Nick's sunburned legs.  That one seemed to work. Hurray!  Ate with the whole family around the table, talking and laughing.  Washed dishes by hand from 3 meals for 7 people, since the dishwasher is broken. AGAIN!  Baked an apple cake from scratch.  Worked on the invitations for my 40th birthday party.  Cut 2 people's hair.  Vacuumed up all the hair I cut.  Washed Sarah's hair.  Washed Sophie's hair.  Washed Noah's and Alexandra's entire bodies. 🙂 And after I finish writing this I have to still make dinner, prepare a Primary lesson for church tomorrow, wash the dinner dishes, fold and put away a load of laundry, and finish up the invitations so I can pass them out tomorrow as well. Go to bed, repeat in the morning. 🙂
