Sarah had a goal to finish all 7 Harry Potter books by the end of spring vacation. To be honest, she did start the first about 2 weeks before vacation. So she was already on the third one by vacation time. Still, those last few are rather thick books, and she is only in second grade. She was having so much fun reading them, that Nick decided to join in on the action, and started the first one after we got back from Disneyland. Any downtime we had, and there was quite a bit what with all the rain, you could find these two reading somewhere.
This particular day, they spent almost the entire day in their pajamas, on our bed, reading. Doesn't that sound like the perfect vacation activity? Oh, and she was 2/3 of the way through the seventh book by the time school started again. Good job, Sarah!
