Today I started and completed the bulk of my Christmas shopping. No, I didn't go to some gigantic mall and fight the crowds and a crying baby to find the perfect gift for everyone on my list. I sat on my hiney, and in between cleaning bathrooms, making lunch, dropping off and picking up various children, and reading to my toddler, I made a few clicks and wala, shopping all done.
The internet is my absolute most favoritest invention EVER!
Now I can just sit back and wait for the boxes to arrive, while we spend our days making more gingerbread cookies, seeing ballets, watching Christmas classics, and whatever else pops into our heads to do. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the engineer geeks who wanted a way to share their obscure research with each other faster and cheaper. You guys have made my Christmas stress free. If I knew who you were, I'd send a box your way as well.
