For the past several months, well almost a year now, every time we filled up the gas tank in our minivan the total would come to around 130 swiss francs. Ouch! After a while, you kind of get used to the pain, but still, seeing as how the franc is so strong against the dollar right now, that's some seriously expensive liquid.
Today I filled up the gas tank, I was literally on fumes, and it came in at 92 francs. I let out a huge "Woohoo!" right there at the gas station. The kids were in the car and wanted to know why I was so happy. It's finally costing less than a hundred dollars to fill up the gas tank. That is time for a serious celebration. They were not as impressed.
