Sophie is her mother’s daughter, through and through. She started making Christmas presents in September. 🙂 And then, she was so excited that Alexandra wanted to join in. Together they made something for me. Spent all afternoon on it. Then wrapped it up all pretty, and gave it to me right away! They were so thrilled and pleased with themselves they couldn’t possibly bear to wait until Christmas to give it to me. So sweet!
This is what it looked like, all wrapped up. 
Those are two pieces of licorice flavored salt water taffy on top, my favorite.
Inside the wrapping paper, was this gorgeous origami box they had made.

I have worn it several times all ready. I love jewelery designed expressly for me by my children. I always feel so special and loved when I wear it. And yes, I wear it out of the house as well, on errands, and even to church.
