An extra special thing about having your birthday while on vacation in America, is that suddenly your choice of special birthday cereals quintuples! Here, there are about 7-10 different sugar cereals to choose from. (And we only get that many because we shop in Germany) So, being taken to, say, Super Target, where the cereal aisle is longer than an entire Swiss grocery store is a little overwhelming, to say the least. Still, Noah was up to the challenge. 🙂
He went with a theme for his birthday foods this year; both his cereal and “cake” had the brand name Reese’s on them. They were both delicious. mmmhhhhhmmm peanut butter chocolatey goodness, a kid after my own heart.
Seven looks good on you, Noah!
Again, he knew what his presents were going to be already, since he had picked them out at the store. But he was so excited to finally be allowed to open the box! He also got a Cars Schulthek, that was way more money than we normally spend on those kinds of things, but since we counted it as part of a birthday present, we went ahead and bought it for him.
We had been going, going, going pretty much nonstop since arriving in Utah, so he wanted to do nothing but stay at home and play with his new toy the whole day. We let him. Nick helped him put it together, which took quite a while and then they just stayed up there playing with it until I called them down for dinner. He was a very happy birthday boy.
We love you, Noah. Happy birthday, little guy!
