So it's been a week and a half ago, now, but I will still post it. Last Wednesday, my friend, Jenna, came over with her two girls for the afternoon. The girls had a ball playing together. I think the highlight was teasing Nicholas. Poor kid has got to learn not to give people such a good reaction when they bug him. Of course, this coming from the woman who was teased incessantly by her cousins and never learned herself. Sorry, Nick, my genes have destined you to a life of torment.
On the bright side, while Jenna was here she made the girls some gorgeous new bracelets. Alexandra even got two! She loved them and would hold up her arm whenever we told her to show us her "pretties". She likes to wear them, and if I don't remember to put them on her, she will point up to where they are stored on my dresser and "ask" me to put them on her. She also hands me bottles of nail polish and then sits perfectly still while I paint her toes and fingers. She also loves it when I put lipstick on her. (Don't worry, it's just Blistex.) This child is barely 14 months old, and is already more girly than either of her rather girly sisters. I guess the pink attack won't be going away any time soon.
Monday night, Chris brought home a new pretty for me as well. Since I have stuck with my running for so long, he decided to get me something to keep me motivated. It was a total surprise, which I LOVE! And he handed it to me on bended knee, like he was proposing. So cute. I think I'll keep him. haha.
