Oh Tooth Fairy!

Sarah has had two loose teeth FOREVER.  One on the top, one on the bottom.  The dentist even made a comment at her appointment last month, that if they didn't fall out soon, he would need to pull them. We have been encouraging her to wiggle them as much as possible, whenever she could.  But it seemed as if those teeth were having too much fun in her mouth and would never fall out.  Monday she came running in the door at lunchtime, holding two little packages of newspaper in her hands, and grinning hugely.

She didn't even have to say anything, I just looked at her and screamed.  Finally, both teeth fell out on the same day.  Sarah said she was sitting in circle time, wiggling the tooth with her tongue, and then she just reached in and pulled it out.  She gave it to Frau Nicollier who wrapped it up for her so it wouldn't get lost before she got home.  Then, after recess, she was coloring at her desk, wriggling her other loose tooth, reached in, and pulled it out too.  Took it up to Frau Nicollier, who very kindly wrapped it up, and she was able to bring them both home.

The kids were all very curious to see if she would get to 5 frank coins, or one 10 bill from the tooth fairy.  She got the 10 frank bill.
