Sunday Afternoon

Last Sunday the kids played very nicely together for most of the afternoon.  We love all the baptisms our ward has been having lately, but it’s nice to not have anywhere to go once in a while.:)

Noah took off his not-so-comfy Sunday shirt, but decided the pants could stay.  They are so comfortable, they have a small hole in one knee, and have already been replaced for this Sunday!

Alexandra always leave her dress on until Papa makes her take it off to eat.  She loves skirts and dresses and will wear them no matter what the weather.  In fact, I had to convince her to leave just 2 pairs of pants in her closet “just in case” when we cleaned it out last week.

Friends are often incredulous at the sheer amount of Playmobil we have in the play area upstairs.  But it’s worth every penny when it buys us an afternoon nap every week!

They will spend an hour just setting up the Playmobil so it’s just the way they want it.  Only then are they ready to actually start playing with it.  They have acted out huge battle scenes, giant birthday parties for 3 generations of family at once, and royal balls where every citizen in the kingdom was commanded to attend.  Of course there are occasional tiffs and hurt feelings, but overall, they play very nicely together.  Even Nicholas will still go up and play with them on a pretty regular basis.  Hurray for German molded plastic!
