Chris came home from work Tuesday and totally surprised me with a beautiful shiny silver bag!
I mean, I knew we had ordered the watch, but I didn’t know he had gone to pick it up. The cash coupons were still in my purse, so far as I knew, which was still in it’s usual place on top of the shoe cabinet. And he had told me he wouldn’t have time to go get it during the week. (sneaky guy) So the fact that he had gone into my purse! and gotten them without me knowing, and then gone to the store to pick it up was a huge surprise. Have I mentioned that I love surprises? I don’t care what it is, I just love the novelty of receiving something so unexpected.
So, of course, I got all teary eyed and gave him a big hug. Then I ran to the table to open it. But I was patient enough to wait while he went and got the camera. It was too pretty to just tear into without documenting it first. 🙂
How can there not be something awesome underneath that pretty wrapping?
And there it is, resting on its own pillow; my brand new watch!
