Storyteller Sophie

Sophie is trying to improve her reading skills, so she can start reading all the fun, interesting books Sarah and Nicholas are always talking about.  One way she does this is by reading aloud to Alexandra and Noah.  They love it.  She reads best in German, but is really practicing hard with those pesky, tricky English words.  🙂  Keep up the good work, Sophie!  Your siblings thank you. Sarah, on the other hand, likes to read by herself.  In fact, she has become an expert and seeking out quiet, isolated spots where she can completely immerse herself in whatever book she is currently reading.  One of her favorite spots is the laundry room bathroom when the dryer is running.  It gets very warm and cozy in there, and the dryer provides the perfect white noise to block out any family interference.  She also likes to go into Papa’s office and read on the big chair in there.  But if everyone else is playing upstairs, then a down comforter in the living room works pretty well, too. 🙂
