More Fun Small Packages!

Turning forty definitely has its perks.  One of them showed up in the mail about three weeks after my birthday.  My mother-in-law is a very sentimental woman.  It’s very important to her to commemorate special events with long lasting tokens.  We have a special Christmas ornament for every year that we had a new baby, complete with their name, for example.  So, since this birthday was kind of a big deal, she asked me to think about a special gift I would like to receive from her and my father-in-law. She suggested jewelry, knowing my immediate preference when someone says they would like to get me a gift is to point them in the direction of some pretty paper. 🙂  I thought and thought for a while, and then decided on a charm bracelet.   It would look good with my new watch, it would ensure easy gift-giving opportunities for many years to come, and every time I looked at it, I would remember her and that I got it on my 40th birthday.    The one she got me is absolutely gorgeous, even without any charms on it at all!  I wear it all the time, even though I never used to wear bracelets, and just love it.  Thank you so much, John and Angie!
